for those who have not been into Volkswagen Group Australia head office in Sydney, these 2 art sculptures are sitting in the foyer of the building

they are made for all different year VW bits n pieces

I have a email of his other works if anyone wants to see it send me yr mail address

The 46-year-old Australian artist James Corbett,
creates these sculptures using salvaged old car parts.
After spending weeks dedicated to locate suitable pieces, James meticulously cleans every part and welds them together. "On average, each piece takes a little over two weeks of work, but the larger pieces can take much longer, he says. Corbett lives in Ningi, Queensland, Australia with his wife Jodie.

There was an article in the Bankstown Torch last week saying that Volkswagen is building a new head office on Muir at Chullora - just around the corner from the Greyhound Club. It will be a 3-storey admin block, giant parts warehouse and even include factory training areas for dealer staff.

They plan to move from their (small) HO at Botany, to Chullora, some time in 2011.
