You can buy alloy ones that bolt on or clip on

hi, i got cb 1.4 with cb ultrawedgeports that have 6mm longer valves so the typical alloy covers hit unless it has 2 gaskets.

I have just fitted a pair of finned alloy covers with longer spring bails...

they are about 25mm higher than normal....

think they may be EMPI ones...??
