just looking to get some opinions on lowering the front end of my beetle drag car project, i was thinking of getting the front beam narrowed and fitted with adjusters, but now i'm using some quite deep rear wheels and thinking maybe just putting drop spindles on will do the trick? there is enough room at the guards for the 12mm wider track allowing for the spindles, and i'm also thinking the wider track realisticly would probably be better for straight line stability? anyone have any thoughts on the best option? i think roughly will be the same cost, the spindles i can do myself but the adjusters will need to be done at custom vee dub... also spindles will save me from pulling the beam off and apart but will they be low enough?
any advice is much appreciated
Mick
Spindles are awesome because the suspension and steering geometry stays exactly the same 👍
