Gidday all
I had an issue with losing a headlight and the mounting off the baja on Sunday and was wondering if any on here can help me identify what the mounting is from?
I have included photos.
Thanks
Also would like some ideas for mounting my lights in the same positions but not attached to my front guards. If anyone has some ideas it would be greatly appreciated. The lights are 7" diameter.

They just look like early holden buckets like EH-EJ that era.
Most cars around that time used the old sealed beam style mounts like that
Hi
they look like early Ford falcon headlamp buckets...
I always use them with Hella H4 semi sealed beam headlamps.
7 inch is the most common headlamp size.. other is 5 3/4 inch..
but EARLY Holdens - small and large -
EARLY Fords - small and Large -
USED THE 7 INCH SEALED BEAM HEADLAMPS...
ANY car wrecker will have heaps of them.... cheap..
having the headlamp NOT attached to the car would be difficult unless You use the type of headlamps as used on Hotrods etc....
CIP1 in the USA sell them... have a look...
they are chromed and bolt onto anything with the mounting bolt....
cheers

I've just remembered....
a normal VW headlamp is held in place with the top of the chromed ring plus the bottom bolt....
use fibreglass guards and you are in trouble....
only one I can remember used land rover inner buckets which actually screw into place...
but remember... nothing is impossible....
just a darn site harder.... lol

Found an old holden wrecker ou my way and managed to get a light bucket that worked with a little modifying. Still want o get a set of 7" buckets and am looking for a set from motorbikes. FIgure that they have all the necessary holes etc for mounting and I will just need to make up some brackets so I can fit them in the guards.

Thanks guys but have been thinking laterally and am currently looking for 7" motorbike housings at the right price ie cheap 😂
In the meantime have found a housing which sort of works, not happy with the mounting style and have no dress rim around it.
