This is the first bug I bought. It's a '62. Best paint job I've ever seen. No rust. 2 outside Rear view mirrors (one good for looking at trees on the sidewalk). Passenger door used to fly open randomly, till I bought an Ocky strap. Used to pop out of 2nd and 3rd gears for 3 years till I bought another Ocky strap. Used to replace at least 3 wheel nuts every time I got it serviced. They used to snap off regularly. Still the best car I ever had. Never broke down, except when the coil fell off. I screwed it back on by hand then drove home and tightened it up.
