On Austar today in the old TV series " the saint" with Roger Moore

He was picked up in a 1964 [circa] model [going by front blinkers] blue Kombi with seat in the back .. no windows,,
it also had high interior ventilation vents near the roof on the side..

and When He got Out....

from a 1961 [circa] model [with the small front bullet indicators] blue Kombi van also with a seat and no windows..

it had no interior ventilation vents on the side.. [normal for this model]

🙅
==========================================

On Columbo TV show... He drives an Early Peugeot convertible
but they must have afew of them...
some have an over rider missing... or blinker lens etc..

and some tops have a Large plastic rear window and some have small plastic windows... lol

😂

Movie producers dont worry about the smaller details that only us car buffs notice.

the herbie movies are full of faults, the amount of times it swaps between big window and small window bugs is hilarious.

And another Classic example is that beetle scene from Happy Gilmore.

Stands out to me like dogsballs that there is 3 completely different model bugs used in that one scene but only cos I know my bugs, 99% of the public wouldn't even notice

yes Joel,

Have a look at the damage on the bonnet..
its old and rusted badly...

very late model rear end with one pipe...

so, they just found a car that had run into a pole... lol

I wonder why they use so many cars??

when You see how many [of the same car] are used in movies..

when watching war movies and there are jeeps in it...
I look at the wipers...
some scenes have one wiper at the top
some have it at the bottom and some don't have any... lol

Lee

ps; I watch old TV Shows & movies just to see the old cars..lol

if its there He will see it...

I never do...
I'm too darn busy looking at windscreen wipers😂😂😂:lol

{I must look on the ground. I must look on the ground..]

while walking My dogs yesterday I came across a car with no identification on the front... was a new black SS commodore
wagon, saw another [red] one , also no badge on the nose or front?? they look great - dark colors and chromed grill outline..

LEE

they do look excellent
