Hey all!

Trying to find a thread on here that I saw before, someone did an alternator conversion and made a little plate for where they replaced the external regulator under the rear seat.
It was this really nice fabricated piece of metal that served as a nice way to wire everything together, looked actual class!

Can't find it on here, I'm pretty sure it was on here, or it may have been somewhere else. I don't know.

Or maybe I'm tripping out and never actually saw it? :l

I don't know what connections I have under the rear seat
as I rewired My beetle...
but I have seen where the regulator is left in place and the terminals on the regulator used as connectors...

You're referring to the thread (by me no less) on doing
an alt conv.

Search in "Tech Mods and Frequently asked q's" with the words "alternator conversion on klaus" and it'll dredge up.
