Not wanting to offend, they are trying to tread lightly with their replies (as am I). I know everyone has their own likes and dislikes, but your car is different to what I think most people want a VW Beetle to look like.

Ok ill say it, you don't have a hope in hell at selling it for 9k, I doubt it would go for 3k even then someone would only buy it and replace the ugly bits.

Other than the guards the rest of it is pretty much standard, and whats more in good condition and the engine was recently reco'd and runs like a charm.
Just put the post here if someone was a little bit interested in it. At this point I just want it out of my Garage.
If someone does buy it with the intention of replacing all the ugly bits, Or you can't sell it and it gets parted out,
I'd be very very interested in the guards and bonnet.

I bought the car as a project from Frank(Volksvair) and he had a corvair engine in it. Had the rear skirt removed, when i got it, but that is fixed obviously.
First car i've done from ground up.(Sold the orange parts beetle for 600 bucks with no engine, so its really strange that no ones interested in this one considering its just a beetle with some weird guards.)
Still there arn't many shifting on ebay ATM. Lets see how we go!
