yes I think it was worth getting RTA to hold the plates for a couple of years. They are the originals from when it was first registered. Car has lived in Nimbin all its life and is now about to move to Melbourne. Very tidy (now) low mileage 73 auto. Rust was major and after 18days straight and lots of swearing he is back from the brink. In the words of Neil Young 'long may you run'

I have my original plates too and I will be horrified that someone tell me that I have to change them... I better restaure them. Nice work!!!!
