HIoldnslo wrote:Hi there, I had a blocked preheat pipe on my inlet manifold and managed to clear it with an old cable and turps, but it must have been corroded as it pierced thru the tube wall where it butts up against the inlet tube. I was thinking of separating the two pipes and welding up the hole. Anyone done this before or would it be easier to block off the preheat holes at the exhaust? Would perfer to have it all operating but since these manifolds are rare in good condition I would prefer to fix mine. Any thoughts?
