Aaron's 20b Vw Kombi willow bank 1/4 mile run wed night 10th (video now up)

After Warwick 2012 I've decided to take some of the parts off the Kombi for the type 3 drag car, but before I do, I thought I should get a time down on the quater mile. Well at least a MPH figure. Should be around 128-134 MPH I don't really care about the ET. The first few runs I will take off easy 1st, 2nd, and 3rd then back off and check the tune is ok from the logger. Mainly because I'm running on E85(76%) not 88% which it was tuned for. I've made some changes to the tune already just to be safe and will see how it goes. The bus will be run in street trim ie, street tune, radial tyres, and pump fuel. I will open the butterfly in the exhaust and change the spark plugs, that's it. I'm preparing my ice (50kg) $17 and spare axles (x3) and cv's (x6) $90, this should get me 4 runs, and be able to drive home.😂 If this all goes well i'll detune the bus (600hp) and change the clutch to be used as the tow car for the notch. That last run was on a mission with over 4 mph faster at half track than the 133.78. 👍

This is the run where I missed third 133.78

This was the last run got all gears, backed off just before the line, and it was only 9mins after the other run.
Air temps were still high.

I had to use my iPhone to film the laptop that had the go-pro playing

That was a friend Daniel. It's a BMW with a 13b turbo that I built a while a go. It goes hard for a streeter.
