stubug - February 12th, 2009 at 06:20 PM

Does anyone know what size box trailer I would need if I wanted to fit a beetle?
Would it need to be braked and duel axel?

Obviously it would have to be braked as all trailers with a gross vehicle mass over 750 kg require brakes,(NSW regulations) depending on your requirements and what you are going to use for a tow vehicle whether to go bogy or single axle.I hope this helps a little .I am assuming that you want to put the beetle in the trailer not tow behind the car. hey
i ended up getting a dual axle disc brake car trailer that tilts to carry just about anything which is spot on for my oval and my bay..
it is worth investing the cash if you tend to keep such a thing for ya rides for long trips away..

I agree H,
$85 hire for the day and it blew all my fuses due to poor wiring.
I was thinking a box trailer would be more versitile then a speciality car trailer.
Anyone know what size I would need?

Cheers,
