Mate ship it back to uk........ Will be there in time for the volksworld show at sandown. Will get a few raised eyebrows. And you know you will love it. fit an erps kit before you go and it should last against that nasty cold harsh wet weather they have up there!!!

Oh such a sad day that this is being sold, 'tis my dream car. Absolutely love it but don't have $6500... I'd swap my Bug for it if you were staying in Oz, but if you were staying you wouldn't be selling it anyway.... :P

Ain't life a 8itch sometimes - told the missus about this ripper Type3 and promptly got put back in the shed - all the best with the sale Dan and best of British luck on your to the homeland

Just a idea on what's been spent on this car.

Motor is oil tight! Fitted with a set of custom made S/S turbo thomas extractors and muffler. $1000 for exhaust. Motor runs great!

New BRM's with tyre flaps and 135's / 165's. Well over a $1000

5 venentions and visor. $800

Roof rack $600

Flat4 bumper overiders $800

Brand new carpets front and rear $400

Complete front end rebuild with new KYB shocks all round $800

Scat shifter $200.

The car is ready to go and cruise. If i was keeping it i would carry on with the tidy up on the interior , fit the gearbox supplied as the one in it is a little noisy .

11 months NSW rego .

Would suit someone that can maintain and improve on it!

After sitting down and working out how much i need to raise to get home and see my mum i can shave $500 to what i was asking. The reason for this is i have to leave asap to get back to UK and $6000 will just about do it.

Please realise what i'm selling here. This car is wicked and has to be easily one of the nicest wagon's around. This is a genuine reason for sale and a total bargain.

For those that have contacted me already i will be putting the car on ebay very soon as it has to be sold very quickly. I need to be in the UK now!

Please no tyre kickers or stupid offers as this is the real deal for some lucky sod!

I don't ever talk up a car that is for sale.. However in this case I'll make an exception.. I went and picked up my bits from Danny today and had a good look over his square back for the first time..

All can say is .. Bloody Awesome!!.. This would have to be one of the cleanest, optioned up, nothing to spend cars I have ever seen in 30 odd years of farting around with VW's.. And to think it is selling for this money is the steal of the century.. I am think of selling my yellow 71 dual cab just to make room for it for myself.. That is no joke..

I would ask anyone that is serious or knows anyone looking for a very desirable, head turning VW to get in touch with Dan and go and look yourself.. You won't be dissapointed.. And at the end of the day, you'll be helping Dan to get home to see his mum.. Can't think of a better reason and don't want a sermon but you genuine people out there will know what I mean.. Rob
