power spark ignition

hi has any one used a power spark dizzy at all ive fitted one to my kombi with a 1600 sp twin carbys its the vacum advance one but sense fitting it has a surge down low and has the worst flat/dead spot when cold when i put the old points one back in its back to normal any help would be great
