Spark Plug Gap info
Hi there, I'm running the Bosch Super WR8AC+ plugs and need to know what gap?
It's my 1776 10.5:1 comp with MSD and blaster coil.
Thanks
Jason

The power of the ignition system (bigger spark can use a wider gap), and the amount and pressure of fuel/air mix (hi comp and rammed/turbo/blown mix
needs more ignition power).
If he had a stock-ish system, then closing up the spark plug gap to as little as .024" can help fire the mix.
Closer gaps are easier for the lower energy ignition systems to jump across.

Ever since I upgraded my system to the MSD Powergrid, (Frosty got my 6AL)
I have been sneaking the gap a little wider.
Once I got to .055" the spark decided it was easier to track elsewhere at 7000rpm.
I went back to .035" and it was all sweet.
But you know what?
There was no power gain between .018" and .045",(which was the highest I went successfully).
