Accelerator pedal pivot

Hey all - I need to replace the pivot bracket for my accelerator pedal in the 72 as the original rusted out along with the pan section.

Tricky thing is that I have had the pan piece repaired and now don't have a reference point / measurement for where to weld the bracket back.......

Can anyone help with a measurement or picture ?

Thanks in advance !

In a beetle mate? I can try and take a picture tonight of my pan, it's a 1970.

It will all be OK in the end, if it's not OK it's not the end!

Here is a photo of my beetle but it doesn't really show the accelerator pivot. Also attached is a plan with measurements. I just can't remember if it is for the beetle or the ghia though. If you compare the measurements with your beetle for the bits that are still there, it may confirm whether it will suit or not.

Ask on Volkszone as there's a guy on there who has a diagram with measurements of both the strengthener plate bolt holes, brake stop plate nut and accel pedal bracket.

If you need some measurements let me know and I'll measure mine when I get home.

I hadn't spotted the PDF he'd attached but looks exactly like the drawing I've seen on Volkszone so you should be right with that :)
