'60s rear lights on 70 Beetle - What do you think
I'm thinking of putting '60s rear lights in place of my Tombstones. What do you think, any pics of it done well?
I found this, not sure if I like it with the blade bumpers too.

Bug
I love the look of the older lights and bumpers on this model.
Do it.

I have been doing a bit more research and apparently I need to alter the arches to suit the lights. I'm not sure if I want to get into it that far.
Anybody know if this is the case or are they direct fit?

Don't do it, tombstones look fine!
Early is early and later is later..
you could always get the Torana taillights glued in

Have a look at the latest VWMA.
'Bling Bug' is featured, had very wide flared guards, with 60's tail lights.

Ok decision made I'm staying stock. The 70 is new to me and I have always had earlier beetles so I'm taking some time to adjust to the look but I'm
warming to it, even the FAT bumpers!
