Clutch issues

Hi all just neec some advise/help. I have a subaru 2.5 motor with a small cars bellhousing and subaru clutch. The install was done just over 2 years ago and i assume a new clutch and machined flywheel fitted. However the clutch is starting to slip with just about 12000 ks on it. I have never burned out a clutch in 30 years of driving so i have to say there is something wrong. Any ideas? Please.
Cheers all bob

Just an update. I have been trying to get the clutch to slip again but so far it works fine. So now a new theory is it posible for the slave cylinder to release slowly when the fluid is cold? Anyone have an idea?
Thank bob.

renew the fluid clean the system b4 hand...maybe the rubber hose has deteriorated and gunked up the system
is there adjustment on the clutch?
any oil leaks from rear of engine....wash it down with diesel then water...can be done with unleaded but do super-wash it so no fire danger

want any vw bits old but like me, Made in Germany!!!
