Mk5 Golf Headlight Lenses

G'day Dubbers,
Has anybody tried just the lens replacement on Mk5 headlights? I saw the lenses on ebay but wasn't sure if you could actually just replace the lenses. Mine are badly weather damaged.
Any feedback would be appreciated.
