super beetle front strut suspension questions
My work colleagues son is restoring a superbeetle.
He purchased some 6" wide wheels which when fitted with rubber will foul the spring / perch.
I recall there is a difference in struts 2bolt vs 3 bolt, and that Richard Holzl had a few options for strut beetles.
Is there somewhere in Australia you can buy replacement struts to allow for wider wheels and improved front suspension?
thanks
Thanks

You need to get narrowed springs. I can't remember who does them but a search should bring some results.

And if you get the wheel ET right you don't have to go to the expense of narrowed springs/struts and still get a 6" wheel under standard guards.
Buy the wheel to fit the car not make the car fit the wheel.
