71 bug rear sway bar.

Hi,
I have a 71 S bug with a heavy duty front sway bar without one on the rear.
Steering is hard to keep straight without constant corrections. I know it needs a wheel alignment which could be the cause of most of my problems.

Do you have to fit a rear sway bar with the a h/d front one?

I purchased the car set up like this.

PS, There is no play in the steering box and also had a new kit put in it.

Thanks
Darryl

Thanks,
I'll end up going there, I just have to change the front struts first.

I can recommend East Coast Suspensions. It's about 100kms from home but worth the drive.

If you call them first and tell them that you have along way to travel and they will be flexible.

I read it on samba, so it must be correct.

Sometimes Volkswagen dealers sell spare parts. Amazing isn't it!
