Fitting 90.5s after 92s

Hi Guys

Hoping someone can advise. I currently have 92s and thinking about a new combo with 90.5s. Is it possible to go back in size? Thanks for the info

Cheers

I think you would have to make a spacer ring to fit to the lower section of the barrell so it wont cock when installed in the case

I would be measuring up the 2 barrels first

Gene Berg has some information buried in his web site under the "Labour" section?
My understanding is that 90.5 and 92 use the same case and head sizes.
96mm Case & 98mm head, so the 92s have thinner sealing surface & skirt, which is why people use 90.5mm
Gene says to maintain the original barrel clearances between case & head.
Says stock case has .012" to .020" clearance, doesn't say what the stock head clearance is.

Some good stuff on that site.
Cheers
Tony

They could be thick wall 92's

If so, 94's would fit
