Import from Bali

Hi all, been a member here for 10 years but last couple of years silent as started a family. Reason why I am now active is a friend wants to sell his 73 Kombi however he is located in Bali.

Does anyone know the cost or how to import the car from Bali or maybe Java to Australia (Melbourne). I have look into with the Government websites and not much help with cost.

Would love to hear feedback if someone has done this before. I was in Bali 15mnths ago and know the Kombi well so very keen to purchase it.

Locations - yours and Covid situ now make this even more complex iwould say, eg have been waiting for a small overseas part since Dec 8th!!

Car has to be prepped or quarantined esp. if from a rural area.

Where are you situated, I have an almost completed project 74 Sopru 4 sale at a good price with 100% parts and extras, 2L fresh eng and 2 L box!!!
very little rust near Brisbane. Retiring! Maybe pm your ph nr and I willpost pics etc. Importing may cost you $6-8,000 more incl duty!

want any vw bits old but like me, Made in Germany!!!
