King Edward Park Hillclimb Newcastle

Anyone interested in a get together at this event on Oct 5-6. I've entered this year in the Speedster for a laugh but we will be making a full weekend of it up in Newie.

Would love to come to the Hill climb but am too far away in Brissie.

Used to go every year when i was living in Newcastle, really nice setting.

Always liked driving through the park when it was one way up the hill with no traffic.
The dodgy off camber corner at the bogey hole, the stone walls at the bottom to reverberate the exhaust and then the nice curves at the top. The Fiat loved it and the cops were never there. :P:P

i think it is 2 way now isn't it

looks like they will be starting at the bogie hole agsin this year. the council still hasn't fixed the road down the bottom. And now there is a dirty big boulder on the road at the skate park. And there talking about leaving it there. so i don't know how everyone is going to be able to line up down the bottom without affecting the overall length of the run........................:cussing
