Wiring diagram for turbo ej20

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the turbo ej20?? It was a legacy if that makes a difference, but just the basic engine diagram would be great.

steve, save the images as gif's in any program other than crappy microsoft photo editor and you will find the quality will be much better than a jpeg (with less than 256 colours of course), and the file size will be small.

andy i have just emailed you a PDF file with a diagram for a turbo EJ20G. this is approximately 90-93 i think - the file is too big to post on the forum i think (92k) - but if you know how, could you post it for anyone else who may be interested

I downloaded it from the net yonks ago, cant remember the source, the quality is not the greatest, it has been written on and had greasy prints on it before they scanned it, but it gives pin co-ordinates on the ecu and where they all go so it has more information than the shitty haynes/chilton diagrams .
I reckon it must have come from a genuine workshop manual.

Ravensblade http://www.ravensblade-  impreza.com/modifications/misc/wiring/wiring.html
also has a collection of subaru diagrams, however i am not sure any of them are suitable for you, but perhaps some of the forum members may be interested

This site has the complete workshop manual on line for pre MY97 vehicles. I've saved it to CD.

http://www.saxonfields.freeserve.co.uk/

on the left bar click 'scooby' then when that page comes up, workshop manual

andy

for the number of pins you have it sounds like a 90-93 model, which means that the wiring diagram i sent you should be right-or very close to. It is nearly the same as my NA ej20 except for the turbo stuff. Unfortunately it really is a dodgy scan, and i had to spend a bit of time retracing the wires to work out where they went,
i have looked around on the net for the source (to perhaps try for a better copy), but i guess the website folded,

anyway i compared the pinout of the ECU at the website jenny referred us to the diagram and they are a very very close match. all the crucial stuff like teh cam and crank sensors were in agreement, but what you dont get from a pinout is wher stuff interconnects, which is what a diagram shows so well.

If no better diagram pops up perhaps i can scan or photocopy my diagram for you or help you sort your loom out a bit- you are in brissy right??

The wiring diagrams are contained in the Workshop Manual per my above post. You can go straight to it here

Thanks guys. I have downloaded the diagram from the site jenny mentioned and will try to compare it with the one col gave me. I guess it will be a couple of months yet before I am ready to wire it. I would like to just pay someone to wire the whole vehical for me if I can get it done at a resonable price. If not i will do it on my holidays a christmas time.

Hey andy,

I have done the same and the comparison is very simaler and this one is heaps easier to read, -make sure you downloaded the pre 96 diagrams though. They are for an EJ20t not like the ones 55bug posted which i think are for an ej22t.
he has also posted nearly the entire workshop manual which is fantastic, there is additional information about the engine, diagnostics etc which may be handy,

good find jenny!
