Check your bailey channel rubbers(between the glass and the door frame)Are they worn in half??Spray some silicon lube between the glass and bailey channel and you should have no more problems. Make sure they are fitted properly and not falling in or slipping down into the door. Might also pay to lube the winder machanism inside the door while your at it!!! Good luck.:bounce

Take the door trim off and watch the action.

Hopefully the glass is loose in the holder or bailey channel or something.

Its a bugger if you have to change the regulator/winder drive

Umm.... not.

Maybe a little back and forth movement but not "slop"

At the bottom of the glass is a steel holder about 3/4" high and say 6" long.
The glass sheet is puhed/held in there and the steel bit is fixed to the winder and goes up and down the long threaded tube.

IF the glass comes loose it can move and get stuck as you wind it up and down.

If the drive mech stuffs up ur the thread wears on the winder you have to replace it

You will have to pull the door trim to see what is wrong

Should not be to sloppy. Check the winder machanism. Have the channel rubbers worn through??Might pay to replace them to remove the slack. They tend to wear out on the d/s as it is used more. The winder mechanism is a pain to replace...would check everything else first!!!Good luck.:bounce
