upholsterer in melbourne
Do any of you guys/gals know a good upholsterer in Melbourne?
By good I mean cheep. :P
I am not after anything special just something that will do the job.
I got quoted $150 to fix up two seats (I brought the fabric in that needed repairing and was told that foam would need fixing too.) I go there the
guy sees the word recaro and funnily enough the price changes to $500.:cry :cussing
Thanks

I think we have put the motor trimmer into the same pot as the Panel beater here in Sydney
Bloody hard to find good reliable people who are willing to do basic work.

Justin,
Here's some very ordinary pics of mine. Always happy to help if I can. Like to see the seats when you have a chance.
Cheers
Brad

65busser, Don't worry about the seats my father who had the seats in the back of his car went past an upholsterer and the guy there said he would
repair them for $220 foam and all, my father thought this was a good deal and gave them to the guy lol.
Heres a pic of the same seats on another car in better condition. |

A witty saying proves nothing.
