daft question is it possible to get a new accelerator pedal, i mean the bit that is fixed to the floor. My car has had a floor pan change an the old pedal was knackerd i mean it was rusting and just didnt work well, the floor around it was like a lake and the pedal was rusting away so i don want to put it back on any advice.:D

yep sure is! Are u talking about replacing the hinge bit at the base of the pedal? I recently replaced mine, the hinge on the floorpan is held to it by 2 or 3 spotwelds, all u need to do is to drill thru them and voila. The hinge on the pedal is welded on so u have to weld it to fix it up. and make sure u use a bold with a nyloc nut instead of the stock pin, as the stock pin can sometimes fall out and leave u on full throttle....
