Red Buggy breakdown!!!

I'm not sure if anyone has been following the progress of Red Buggy, a couple of people from Sweden that are travelling across land from Stockholm to Cape town.

Well they are currently in the sahara, and have had a major breakdown! First the floorpan sheared across behind the handbrake, then their torsions have broken, and this knocked their air filter off and the motor sucked in a ton of sand wrecking the internals! To top it all off their fuel pipe fractured in the tunnel, and the handbrake mount sheared off!

Makes interesting ready for buggy folk.

Cheers

Steve

Thats scary........ an ill prepared street buggy, which is not a "meyers manx" body, to do a serious offroad trek.
An interesting read though.
