Dent pullers?
Where does one get those dent pullers? The ones where you weld on the nails or whatever, then isn't there a little pulling device you can get or
something to pull on the welded pins/ nails?
I'm a little in the same basket as Frenzix as the advice on the mig welder purchasing, but I also want to be capable of doing this method rather than
bog or drilling holes and doing it...
Does any of this make sense?

Go along to yr local panel shop n ask them. They usuall spot a washer onto the panel and use a hook through the hole to pull. works great on small
dents.

sounds like you are talking about a "pin puller" it welds a small pin to the panel and you use a slide hammer with the right fitting to pull the
dents out. There are two main types you can get one is souly a pin puller the other is a spot welder to. Cost wise the pin puller will be much
cheaper and you will be able to get it from any good tool suppliers.
hope this was of some help

We have a machine that does that without even needing the slide hammer attachment. It is called an 'air puller' made by FAN. They cost about
$3500.
The cheapest way out in your case may be to oxy bronze a small plate on and pull off that with a slide hammer. The slide hammer would cost about $200
and could be used for pulling out all manner of damage, and even brake drums and stuff.
After the plate has been used to pull the dent out, you can heat up the bronze and the plate will come off with no holes.
Remembering though depending on the depth of the dent, the metal will tear if you pull it too hard no matter what method you use.

Dent Pullers
I have one made by H & S in America. The most common type is called Easy Beat I think. Worth their weight in gold, especially when working on a
bus where you can't get to the other side of most of the panels. Tell me if you want me to post any pictures. The only problem is the cost. Your
looking at about $1500.

Dent puller
A mate of mine is using it at the moment. I still have a lot of dents to remove. If your restoring a couple of cars it's worth investing in one if
there is a fair bit of panel work. If you get one at a good price you should get back what you paid for it.

Have a look at this company and ring them for a price. This is a simpler version of what we use.
