T3 kombi


Hello
I have be looking for at t3 kombi syncro and would like to know if anyone has had any experience with them and what are the pros/cons of these . Also how do they rate compered to the early T2 and the never T4

Dunno too much about syncros.. but had a few T3's. I think all T3s in australia are ex Telstra units unless privately imported.
Get used to this idea: You WILL have cyl head leakage problems and these are expensive to fix properly, Like $3000 plus, depending on what needs to be done. I put a dohc 2.5 subaru in mine and it is great. These t3's are terrific to drive, handle well for what they are and are great apart from the wbx engine. I can't imagine what VW were thinking when they brought out the wbx engine.. it is a pita.

This is in this weeks trading post in Brisbane.........VW Syncro 1992,white,3.3 ltr 5 speed manual,set up as camper 140 ltr gas tank SVXSubaru, motor removed $ 5000 ono Wynnum 0409 682151
Does say a bit more in the add, but you get the drift,sounds good to me.
