Air vents, heaters stuff

How do you get hot air to come out of the dash vents in a 71 super??? it comes out under the rear seat and at the floor in the front but not at the dash/windscreen. Help me cause it frosts up badly

The heat comes from the bottom vents up thru a round corrugated paper tube to the top..
Check under the bonnet on the left & RH sides to make sure the tubes are still there and connected..
Many people seem to disconnect all these things ?? for what reason, I don't know...
You may have to close off the foot vents a bit to allow heated air up to the top.. ..
With the rear vents shut and foot vents shut and heater on... the hot air has to go somewhere....

sorry but in my experience it usually is some thing simple but you could upgrade the demister by force feeding it with a pair of blidge blowers that can be purchased from boating warehouse. they fit under the back seats of a bug. let me know if you want to have any info on how to fit them.

You will probably find they are disconnected under the bonnet.. either in the corner or behind the dash...

You will have to take the cover from behind the dash off..
It may look complicated at first but You should be able to find where they are supposed to go... up towards the windscreen....

Let Me know what You find...

you can have a electric blower under the back seat its not that hard to install but you must have some experiance in glassing. what i did was pull both tube from under the seats cut them to fit the bildge blowers in the glass them up.
