Generator Heat...
Just wanted to know how hot the generator assembly should be getting, specifically the fanbelt pulley.
Last night after about half an hours solid hard driving I touched it and it was quite hot, not enough to burn my fingers on, but I wouldn't have
wanted to hold them there for any time more than a few seconds.
Is this normal?
I did it again this morning after about 10-15 mins of normal driving to work and it was only just warm to the touch.

It's charging fine, there is no bearing play, but I have noticed a little squeaking noise that must be coming from that area.
It just came back from the shop so maybe they have pulled it too tight?
Thanks for the quick reply, you are a forum legend!

Sounds about right under a heavy load, such as lights at night...
