Rims , blasted and chromed , HOW MUCH?
In Sydney and would like to get an idea on getting some standard5 bolt rims chromed.

we pay in perth blast $25.00 per rim very good job then $120.00 per rim to chrome .I would not do it as the brake dust rusts them very fast ,need to
put a 2 pack clear over the top save your hard $ for some thing better

The rims have to be CUT aprt for Chroming. ... and reweld back together again after. Probally 200 per rim i would say, and the chrome will proberally
be crap.

cut apart??
definately no need to cut them apart, you won't be able to weld them cleanly after chroming. I have been quoted $200 per rim including stripping and
double plated, if it is done properly and they are looked after they won't rust (unless your dog pi**es on them alot) this is a price from a small
north qld firm so should be cheaper in a city with competition
