Which Tail lights to use???

Picked up some molds for making the rear mudguards in fibreglass, it's the one similar to the fourth pic down in the http://www.volksconversions.com/panels.htm site, the reddish looking bug. Just wondering what model those tail lights came off.
I also desperately need some pics of how the hinges and spring are attached under the whale tail/engine panels are attached....
If you have pics, please email me at screenprinter@austarnet.com.au I'd greatly appreciate it.....
Cheers
Jon

I tend to agree..... but beggers can't be choosers ....budget restraints on a 16-1/2 y/o makes it necessary..
Thanks for the help on the tail lights..... great stuff!.
All I need now are some pics of the hinge attachments for the R's end....

Cheers

A bit of history that I remember. In around 1980 or 81 there was a guy who was a sheet metalworker I think that lived around Sandgate or Brighton in QLD. He did the original guards in metal on a fairly early bug with a whale tail. It also had a 12A rotary in it. Was canary yellow in color. Someone might remember it.
