Flywheel sizes - where to measure?
I have what I think to be an 1800 kombi flywheel, it is the 5 bolt pattern not the single big nut like the type one.
The friction area diameter is 210mm, but the overall space for the friction plate is 215mm. So which is this thing, 210 or 215mm? Was there a 210
type 4 flywheel? Outside dimenstion (ring gear) is the same as the caravelle flywheel I have.
I have a guy that wants to buy it, but before I send it I want to make sure it's exactly what I think it is.
thanks guys

Hi
Sounds like a 210 to me, Im pretty sure that 210s used 7mm bolts as well to hold the flywheel on. I meant 7mm bolts to hold the pressure plate on.

Thanks Steve. I'd hate to take money for something that wasn't what I
said it was.
