ok how do you get the vw gear box out the back and the motor foward ?? say in a racing V


I have never realy looked how this is done .

Ok one more why do guys turn the kombi gear box up side down , seen the yellow kit car in perth , V8 with gear box up side down .

It all depends on the box as for clearance but most don't need to be,

why turn a Kombi transaxle upside down ? I have no idea but the only one I have seen is dry sumped:)

this also works if you run a honda motor (they run backwards)

Max mate has a car that runs one up side down , I did not ask him why ?

and yes some one with a honda may need it that way , hee hee
