VW mechanics in WA/NT (+general tips)
Hi all! New visitor to the site here. Looking good! I just wanted to ask if anyone knew of any good mechanics in northern WA/NT? Me and my mate are
over from Ireland and are travelling your fine country clockwise from perth in a great 76kombi (loving it). Just getting a bit twitchy around
Carnarvon. If something goes wrong, we dont want to be at the complete mercy of the nearest mug with a spanner, so any info or advice regarding safe
havens in this part of the country would be great!
Also, any tips about travelling across the top in general? For example, how best to stop her overheating. Any tips, pointers, dos or don'ts would be
gratefully recieved.
Thanks,
Ger&Colum.
PS. kombis rock.

thanks for that mate. We went with MBN in the end, as we'd heard bad things about the german fella in continental. He did a good job, as our 1 valve
was burned out, and the piston was coming apart on no.2! He did a recon job on the head, which has got us almost to townsville. She's flagging a bit
now though.
Thanks again for your help.
