some type three questions.
hey all...t3 is almost done for rego...and in putting stuff on..i am checkin to make sure it works...cus i have that many problems, i wanna make sure
it works before i get on the road....
starting with electrics...
when i move the indicator lever...to indicate either way...the light at the rear comes on (front lights arent on yet) but doesnt flash...is this the
flasher can? or becus the rest of the lights arent connected?
also, dont laugh...but basic t3 training lesson 101...when u pull the indicator stalk bak....it turns the lights on high beam? and are they meant to
stay on? and when i pull the light switch out....first posi is parkers....second is normal beam?
aahhh k...now i just installed my new wheels with tyres on...when standing at the rear of the car...the rear drive train...is out...? the wheel on the
left of the car...sticks out further than the right...what does that mean? is it bad? and...hopefull..can i be fixed?
thanks all,
jonno

the light switch is normal the high beam will only stay on when you have the main healight and engine running. pull the blinker back and they should
lock on

I think you will have to have all blinkers front and rear hooked up to make the unit flash, it does not have the correct load to make it blink from
memory

Everything Dave said is correct. The high beams will only stay on if the headlights are on, if not they will only stay on as long as the lever is
pulled back. First position is parkers (green light on fuel gauge comes on), second is headlights (green light off). A word of caution, the high beam
switch remains in the position it was left in, so when you pull the headlight switch on, the high beams may already be on. Blue light on fuel gauge
comes on with high beams.
The indicators only flash when all four globes are in and working. This helps, as you will know it means a bulb has blown or there is a bad
connection if they don't flash.
Is the wheel camber the same ie are both rear wheels at the same angle to the road. This can give the illusion that one wheel is further out. If the
back of the car has been jacked up for a while, the wheels decamber. If the motor is not back in or you haven't taken it for a drive, the wheels may
not be in their normal position. I would suggest you take it to a good wheel alignment shop and get them to do a full four wheel alignment and check
the camber of all four wheels. This usually costs under $100 and it's well worth it.
Good luck with rego, keep us all informed how it goes. Good to see another type 3 getting back on the road.
Ain't nothin' like the wind in your hair.

I suggest that you go see an Auto Electician to get yr horn fixed and or put on a remove push button.
