Lowering my Kombie.... Cut and Twist?..
Hoping someone can give me some info on this simple method of lowering the front beam of a 72 bay....
I have done it once before, but is was about 8 years ago and I have forgotten exactly how it is done (can sort of remember). I know many people think
this is not the correct way of lowering a kombi, but the van I lowered in this way never suffered any problems.....
I think bay windows look awesome when they are lowered.... One of the reasons I am considering lowering the front is because the back of the van
(that I recently bought and am restoring) is sagging a bit, I am guessing from age, and wear and tear... Does anyone know if I am being far to much
of a Cowboy by leaving the back as is and simply cuttting and twisting (jumping on the bumper after releasing the torsion bar if I remember rightly)
the front?
All opinions and advice greatly recieved. |
