Are you sure it's a 73 as I've gone one also and it has the square indicators up high and the steps are hidden in a foot well - did you change the
front to have that earlier look :duh

G'day Rhys,
Looking good Mate. Good to see another one being done for serious 2 people cruising (full size dbl bed is much more comfy than those fold up 3/4 beds
in most campers).
Hope all goes well with the trip, look us up if up this way.
Cheers, Ian. |

Hey where are the pics taken? Looks like Nudgee beach??
I live near there!!!
Pics look sweet. I had a '72 panel with large rear tail lights and low front indicators, and had 1600 motor!
So what's the plan for the trip? We went round Oz last year. On the road over 5 months and did a full lap including tassie!
Magical

Leaving at the end of feb heading south down the coast to tassie. then back up to melbourne and working the snow season for 2 months. From there
across the great ocean road to adelade, up to coober peady, back down and across the nullabor to perth, then travel southern wa then up to broome port
headland. Accross to the NT see all the sights there and then finally home to brissy via outback qld CANT WAIT!!!

yeah Kombi_Kid mines a 5/73 plate but it ain't blue - Dept' of Transport up here require a blue plate for modifications so possibly someone got it
wrong from the original compliance plate.
so Davecho if you're going to the Dubs on 13 feb I will be there with mine

Seems like I'm updating this every day
Moved number plate, got a tyre cover this morning and touched up the bull bar paint

Then this afternoon rice_girl and I did some "impulse shopping" down at mick motors walking out with this baby, cant wait to hear fergus roar
tomorrow when its on

***Wallet is starting to think its not so good having mick motors just down the road***
