so no 74's came with king and link pin. cos i dont want king and link pin. but have come across a beetle of which is said to be a 74 beetle. its not an L bug or anything. i was thinking of buying as project instead of my 71super. (super has a fair bit of body rust whereas 74 apparently has none, is all stripped back ready to paint).

which will in the long run cut down costs.

it will either be a super (curved screen) or a ball joint/swing axle standard beetle. both were sold in 74.

ok cool. nah its not the curved screen.

i just wanted to make sure it wasnt king and link as i heard this is a bad choice for a performance bug.

dont mind swingaxle so much as it will be more of a straight line car than cornering. but could always do an irs conversion
