What is your opinion on Decal''s to finish off a buggy?
:alien
Should I have black, orange and yellow flames on my RED Beach Buggy?
Similar to to my brothers PURPLE Beach Buggy
Or leave it as it is?

Hi Brian,
I guess decals can be applied and changed fairly cheaply. But I would be tempted to look into air brushing. Get something cool air brushed on there.

hmmm. A traditional naked lady wrapped in a serpent?
Something fun I guess. you could get it painted like the paint is peeling off from the front, to reveal riveted metal below. maybe a furry animal
holding on to the paint flakes and flying backwards, like he is trying to hang on but being pulled backwards by acceleration.
the possibilities are endless with airbrushing.

of course it looks good as is, but would look Hot with some flames over the bonnet. Those side ones dont cut it..

Flame decals always look their best when on a black background, so i'd have to agree with the others and go for some type of airbrushing. |

go with some subtle pin striping, in a islander pattern (like those tattoos) working back from the head lights, and maybe something small and flat on
the bonnet, on the side pods keep it realy low simple and maybe a little higher getting towards the back of the side pod.
in silver of course

how 'bout a bird of prey, eagle or something on the front bonnet (chev? firebird style). reckon that'd look sweet, otherwise, maybe green
flames?

I have to say- the buggys got a nice clean look as it is right now.... but air brushing will make it one-of-a-kind. Personally I'd be temped to
leave it as is.
P.S. nice ride!!

He heh - I absolutely love the road kill idea. I'm going to do that. Furr, blood and a string of intestines hanging down off the bonnet.
Airbrushed blood splatter all over the guard and down the side with bit of red furr stuck here and there. I'll stop dreaming now.
I like the while islander tattoo idea or the metal base with the red paint peeling back off the guards revieling rivets and plates. Would look cool
but a shame if it did get scratched so a few coats of clear would hopefully save it from the stockton thorn bushes.
Not keen on the whole flame thing. Thier is a fine line between nice and tacky and you never really know until their been on for a while.
