rare 51 standard split window beetle 4 sale for bill $1600au
i think that bill wanted a split beetle...well heres a standard model ,so you cant get much rarer then that when it comes to split beetles except for
a cabrio....not mine but its on ebay http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&catagory=15326&item=4543...
this would be a good resto unlike that other split that was chopped!!!!!as usual the semaphores taillghts and headlights and glass are missing and
theres a bit of panelwork but well worth th $$$ in my opinion

The current high bidder is not dong very well with his previous purchases, has a -2 rating, re the car, looks like a nice little resto jobbie, you
bringing a car back andreas, wanna share a 40ft container? maybe not for this one, well you never know eh!

the highest bidder has just been baned from bidding so if his bids are removed the price should go down!!as for bringing a car in deffinatly a pre 49
split bug and if im lucky a nice barny resto but i wont ship via conainer cause thier too expensive.dads just about to import a new audi a6(very big
car )and its going to cost $1050 US...about 1300au and thats directly to brissi.and as these rates are determined by size a beetle shouldent cost more
then $1000au in my opinion.but shipping parts to aus is a customs nightmare.paid 230 euros to ship almost a 2 square meter crate from hamburg to
brissi consisting half of vw parts and ended up paying just over a grand landing and taxes just on the aussie side????but iits heaps easier with old
cars over 15 years...i think its just 5%import duty and %10gst plus the $50 import aproval paperwork which takes 2-3 weeks....but it would be good to
see some rarer vws driving around in aus!!! andy...a 40 footer could fit 3
vws in there?????so if i find more then one then we should split the costs...plus bring back a S load of parts at the same time....just fill up a
barny and roll it in???
