busbeam

hey guys
Im just about to weld adjusters in my bay beam, so it off and in bits and i was wondering if its worth narrowing it now while its off. because i intend to build some dropped spindles in the future. But does narrowing screw round with roadworthy cert, im guessin u have to get engineers reports. Also with the adjusters in the indian intructions they say to wack the centre leaf holder out with a pipe where as else where ive read they say u should remove the strearing link and drill out the spot weld Is this needed ? does the spot weld ever bake dodgy with the Indian way?
cheers (sorry about the essay)

I think that you will find that even fitting adjusters you will need an engineers certificate as you are modifiying it, And the quality of the weld is very important.
So I would narrow it at the same time, saves one visit to the engineers.

Cheers
