T4 engine removal


Simon,
I have always removed the two top tranny bolts, then lowered the engine and gear box about 4 inches, put a jack stand under the gear box then split the engine from the box, and lower the engine down, leaving the box on the jack stand.
It won't clear the back of the car with out a lot if juggling if you don't lower the gearbox a bit.

Well guys I reckon i must have missed something but It can be done and will be done again shortly without touching the gearbox mounts

I don't undo the gearbox mounts either. :P
