It probably depends on what stud pattern you want to stick with really.
If you wish to use the BJ beam with its 4 stud setup, everything is a straight boltup.
Just the adittion of some 4 stud rear drums and your away.
Nice, simple and importantly, cheap.

I cant actually say right now M8 as i have not had the Vee onto the track with the BJ beam
But, from what i have been able to find out from guys using the BJ beams is due to the serious lack of "sticktion" in the front end, the ride is
aparrently very compliant. The linkpin beams are all rotating in bushes and are a bit "sticky" and tend to resist initial movement.
Remember tho, this is on a Formula Vee which only has about 120 kilos over the front end with me sitting in it and only uses one spring pack in the
top tube.
I cant really say if this would be the case in a beetle or a buggy.
Good luck with it anyway M8

If you have the choice, go BJ pan. Standard (not custom/orphan) discs, better adjustability (wheel alignments) with better handling potential,
stronger components, less maintenance, greater choice of four-stud wheels (if that matters) etc etc!
