Nice work Neil.
For those of use with gas pedals (instead of motor bike twist trottles), another alternative is to extend the arm on the linkage at the throttle pedal end, so you get more cable pull for the same depression of the pedal, as per this post http://www.shoptalkforums.com/viewtopic.php?p=680516#680516

Or you could do what Hellbus did and extend the throttle body part http://forums.aussieveedubbers.com/viewtopic.php?tid=38417&page=6

I just removed the ramp on the back of the pedal. Removed the small tit on the back of the pedal stop. Then bolted a piece of delrin underneath the pedal to ride on the roller. I now have full pull of the throttle cable on the large throttle body cam.

I never had a problem....the motor came with about 60cm of cable in the steel cable tube. Simply have it doing the 180 degree turn like the subaru, then made a bracket to hold it in this position and joined the cables. Have full throttle movement.

Different Suby's must have different cam diameters.
