Hi MIke,
Yes, they were "angle flow" Bug pack heads.
48 x 38 for a 4" bore(101.6mm). I bought them as bare castings and finished them over here.
I made the seats and guides from aluminium bronze, and made up an adapter (like the Berg one but longer) to suit the VW rocker covers.
Oh, and many hours of porting and chamber work.
I also welded up the stud holes and re drilled to suit the water boxer/ autocraft stud pattern.

With all the good old memories going on at the moment, I re-found one of my old posts.
Some good pics here that I must have scanned and posted,
but cant seem to be able to find the originals.

Hiya Dave, I am running a 13bt and going to be expecting after dyno this thursday to be running around 28-300 hp. I am currently using a Rancho Pro
Street Irs gearbox. Do you have any idea what I can use that will be stronger if this box dies. Are you in a position to build one stronger if I
require/do you know who I can use for a stronger box. This is this cars Achilles heel and has had 2 other transaxles prior, one being a Super Diff
from the states.
