Do you mean fibreglass buggy seats?
I've got them in my manx with a vinyl padded cover that slips over the outside. They're pretty comfy as you sit in them not on them if you know what I mean.

Nick it is up to the person, but for my self the plastic seats in duckys old buggy are VERY uncomfortable for short or long trips as they do not mould to your back/butt as a lined fiberglass seat when the foam padding is correctly installed.

Give Volks mod a ring as they have that seat mould and are willing to produce them.

Again they wont be ADR approved. The LAST thing you want to break in a crash (esp a head-on) is your seat. Things get very messy very quickly.

its not that you might get hurt is who you might hurt

and the consiquences you will face by law.

your insurance will wipe you stright away

custom has a set of those seats but the law was changed a while ago so the customer couldnt put them in his car.

Where did this pic come from??????
Before or after my time.
Those seats you speak of are avail through Volks-mod, if you see a pic of their buggies it is the same as they use.

Hi Ducky, I just got back from an overnight stay in Strahan (Tassy) which is about three and a half hours drive from here. The seats pictured, although not armchairs, were fine for the trip and it was heaps of fun. We even got to play in the sand. I just wanted to know a few things like, how long since you had the car, did you do the mods, what are the changes you saw that concerned you. The previous owner only had it for about 2 months and details are sketchy and second hand. Any info would be a bonus.
